Cheraw Police Department needs your help

CHERAW, SC - The Cheraw Police Department needs your help to identify the suspect who robbed the Family Dollar Store on June 30, 2010. The black male suspect entered the store at approximately 9:30 AM and locked the door behind him. He then pulled out a handgun and robbed the business. The suspect made the clerk go in the back stock room and disarm the alarm for the back door. The suspect then fled out the door. A similar armed robbery occurred in Bennettsville at the Family Dollar on July 1.
The suspect is described as 35-45 years of age, 5’9 to 6’0, 150 to 170 lbs, and thin build. He was wearing a yellow and white striped shirt, ball cap and dark shades. He was driving a Black BMW, Series 5, possibly 1996 to 2004.
